About Us
Rumi School of the Arts runs its weekend Music program at Auburn Galipolli Youth Centre
Rumi School of the Arts is an established not-for-profit corporation, bringing together local and international teachers trained in Western and Middle-Eastern Arts
We teach in Schools all over Sydney and run an in-depth weekend music program for adults and school-aged children at the Galipolli Youth Centre.
At Rumi School of the Arts, we believe in the power of creativity to connect hearts, cultures, and generations.
Rooted in tradition and inspired by the timeless poetry of Jalaluddin Rumi, our school is a vibrant community where music, rhythm, and artistry come alive. We offer high-quality instruction in traditional instruments such as the Oud, Kanun, Ney, and Middle Eastern drumming, as well as piano, guitar, and more.
Whether you're a curious beginner or a seasoned performer, Rumi School of the Arts provides a welcoming space to learn, grow, and express yourself. Our passionate instructors bring decades of experience and cultural authenticity to every lesson, nurturing not only technical skill but also soulful expression.
Beyond private music tuition, we host workshops, community performances, and cultural events that celebrate the rich artistic heritage of the Middle East and beyond.
Join us on a journey where art becomes a language of connection—and every note tells a story.
“To nurture a thriving collective of creatives who engage in cultural arts as a meaningful form of expression—building an inclusive community that shares artistic knowledge, fosters personal growth, and upholds values of integrity, beauty, and connection.”
